eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community.
eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop.
Witheduroam account you can use the global wireless network roaming system, covering Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and other regions.
NCCU students, faculty and staff can use this service when they are on campus, visiting other universities, studying abroad, or doing exchanges.

Activate Accounts

iNCCU Personal Setting

Log in iNCCU -> click "Personal Setting"

NCCU eduroam

Advanced -> eduroam服務 -> click [Enter]

set password

Set password.

Please remember your eduroam account.

Your eduroam account:

[NCCU email account]@eduroam.nccu.edu.tw

For Example, your NCCU email account is 107104080, your eduraom account is "107104080@eduroam.nccu.edu.tw"

How to use?

iOS
Go to "Settings" > "Wi-Fi" > Select "eduroam" > Enter your username and password > Click "Join" > Click "Trust".

Go to "Settings" > "Wi-Fi" > Select "eduroam" > Set EAP method to "PEAP", Phase 2 authentication to "MSCHAPV2", CA certificate to "Use system certificates", and Online certificate status to "Do not verify" > Enter your username and password, then click "Connect".

Click the "Wi-Fi" icon in the upper right corner of the screen > Select "eduroam" > Enter your username and password, then click "Join" > Click "Continue".

Click the "Wi-Fi" icon > Select "eduroam", then click "Connect" > Enter your username and password, then click "OK" > Click "Connect".

Get Help

First, activate the service in iNCCU, then configure the connection on your personal device.

ActivateConfigure Connection

The password is valid for one year. You can check the expiration date in iNCCU > "Personal Settings" > "eduroam".
If the password expires, you will not be able to connect to eduroam. Simply change the password to continue using it for another year.
1.Go to "Settings" > "Wi-Fi" > Select "eduroam".
2.Enter your username and password, then click "Connect".
Go to "Settings" > "Wi-Fi" > Click the icon next to eduroam > Click "Forget this Network" > Select eduroam again, enter your username and password, then click "Join".

Scenario 1: Your eduroam password might have expired. Go to iNCCU > Personal Settings > NCCU eduroam to change the password.
Scenario 2: Your eduroam account might not be activated. Go to iNCCU > Personal Settings > NCCU eduroam to activate the account, then try connecting again.
